Iganachi Razaki Omia is the Founder & CEO of Omia Agribusiness, a Ugandan company improving farmers’ access to climate-resilient agricultural inputs, training and profitable markets. He founded the company in 2018 with $1,000, inspired by his parents’ experience of returning to Uganda after more than a decade as refugees in South Sudan and relying on farming despite low yields and poor market prices.

Today, Omia Agribusiness serves more than 125,000 farmers, with 89% reporting increased food production and 91% higher incomes. The company directly employs 129 people and operates 10 outlets across Uganda.
