Jeny Pokharel is the Founder of SASANE Sisterhood Trekking & Travels, a pioneering social enterprise in Nepal that empowers female survivors of human trafficking through sustainable tourism. By training survivors as guides and leaders, she creates pathways to employment, independence, and dignity while promoting cultural preservation and ethical travel.
With a background in human rights advocacy, gender equality, and community development, Jeny is dedicated to transforming lived experiences of trauma into leadership and opportunity. Her mission is to amplify survivor voices and build a model of empowerment that redefines resilience and drives lasting social change.
