Pavitra Bahadur Gautam is the Co-Founder & CEO of Karkhana, a Nepal-based education social enterprise that brings hands-on science and STEAM learning into everyday classrooms. Founded in 2012, Karkhana works with more than450 schools across66 districts in Nepal, impacting 1,850 classrooms and combining curriculum-aligned science kits, year-round teacher professional development, and classroom support so that almost 60,000 children learn by questioning, making, and experimenting.

An engineer and educator by training, Pavitra serves on the task force revising Nepal’s National Curriculum Framework and on the Executive Committee of the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum. His work focuses on curiosity-driven learning, public school partnerships and education reform.
