Somsak Boonkam is the Founder & CEO of Local Alike, a Thai social enterprise that works with rural and indigenous communities to develop and market community-based tourism experiences that create local income, strengthen livelihoods and help preserve culture and natural environments. It also provides communities with training, tools and market access to help them design, manage and benefit directly from tourism experiences on their own terms.

With over 15 years of experience, he is also President of the Social Enterprise Association of Thailand, where he plays a pivotal role in promoting regenerative tourism, empowering communities, ensuring fair income distribution, and connecting local tourism to global markets.
