Dr. Srimathy Kesan is the Founder & CEO of Space Kidz India, an aerospace startup pioneering in the design, fabrication and launch of small satellites, spacecraft and ground systems – making space accessible and affordable to all. She is the only woman in the world to have launched 27 space missions, including five orbital satellites with ISRO and NASA. Her landmark project, AzaadiSAT, empowered 750 rural girl students from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to build India’s first all-girls satellite.

She became the first Indian woman to experience zero gravity flight alongside Apollo astronaut Charles Duke and other global space legends. Recognized as an Ambassador to NASA, ESA, and GCTC Moscow, she has built international bridges in space education. Her accolades include the Devi Award 2024, the Globant Global Women in Tech Award 2023.

Beyond space, she champions STEM education and women empowerment, inspiring thousands of students through hands-on missions. As a social entrepreneur and humanitarian, she has led initiatives in health awareness, disaster relief, and education for underserved communities.
