Shely Aronov is the Co-Founder and CEO of InnerPlant, the company pioneering the development of living plant sensors. She was born in Israel and graduated from Tel Aviv University before receiving an MBA from Standford. Shely is a repeat entrepreneur having founded a clean-label hummus brand and led a $320M World Bank-funded project to build a wastewater system in Cartegena, Colombia. She founded InnerPlant in 2018 to create crops that signal farmers with optical signals when they’re under stress from pathogens or a lack of water or nutrients.
