Steve Oldham is CEO of Carbon Engineering, recruiting top talent to join the team, partnering with innovative companies worldwide, and raising funds in order for Carbon Engineering to continue its mission. Carbon Engineering is funded by several government and sustainability-focused agencies as well as by private investors, including Microsoft founder Bill Gates and oil sands financier N. Murray Edwards.

The company is contributing to solving a major issue in climate change, the excess carbon emissions in our atmosphere. They have pioneered ‘Direct Air Capture’ a technology that captures carbon dioxide directly from the air with an engineered, mechanical system. Steve has held a variety of senior executive positions across Canada and the US, covering General Management, Business Development, and Strategy.

Steve has also secured financing from Government and commercial sources for a variety of complex technologies, including several large satellite programs.
