Mike Bellot is the Founder and CEO of the Solo Group, who produce the Solo Bag. Solo Bag was created and designed with the goal to assist students – especially those living in countries lacking infrastructure. Since electricity is a scarce commodity, and a subject of controversy in Haiti,  Bellot saw a need to create a revolutionary product to help change the narrative, and designed a backpack with a solar panel and integrated light. Solo Bag was created to help students to study and complete homework where access to electricity is lacking.

Mike Bellot was named “The Most Outstanding Young Person of the Year 2019” by the  young International  Chamber  (JCI-Haiti), and was nominated by Forbes Magazine as one of the 10 most prolific Haitian entrepreneurs rewriting Haiti Narrative.
