Aishat Adeniji is a health innovator, and the Founder & CEO of HealthPort Africa, a health infrastructure company that makes medical oxygen supply reliable for hospitals. Hospitals across Sub Saharan Africa face oxygen stock outs nearly every three days, due to fragmented supply chains. HealthPort addresses this through an Oxygen-as-a-Service model that combines dependable onsite or near site supply, logistics and clinical support with real-time IoT monitoring through its OxyIntel platform.

Since starting operations in 2022, HealthPort has grown from 6,500 to more than 4.5M litres of oxygen distributed monthly to hospitals across multiple states in Nigeria, while maintaining zero stock outs across its facilities.

Aisha has more than a decade of clinical experience in direct patient care and holds a doctoral degree from Rutgers University, New Jersey. Her work is supported by D-Prize, MIT Solve, Effective Ventures, Better Future Colabs, Ultra Philanthropy, and others.
