Alex has 16 years’ experience in Development & Commercial Banking, spanning; African Development Bank, Trade and Development Bank, Development Bank of South Africa, Uganda Development Bank, United Bank for Africa, Barclays Bank and Stanbic Bank. He has broad expertise in steering intergovernmental, bilateral, multi-lateral, public and private sector operations. He has arranged and managed a portfolio of multiple investments in excess of US$2 Billion that comprise; Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Structured trade finance, equity finance as well as grant funding. His investment experience cuts across 14 African countries in West, East and Southern Africa in different economic sectors especially Finance, Agriculture, Manufacturing and Energy with the aim of achieving the SDGs.
He is professionally qualified with two Masters’ in development finance & Business Administration and a Bachelor’s in Economics.
