Plastic is a very visual problem in Uganda being burnt on roadsides and dumped in waterways. Passionate about creating green jobs, Andy Bownds in 2017 saw an opportunity to solve the plastic crisis and create much needed jobs in Uganda. Eco Brixs now has 33 full time staff, supports over 3,00 people to earn through recycling and has recycled 1,000 tons of plastic waste.
