Augusto Ruiz-Tagle is Co-founder & CEO of Destácame, a Chilean-Mexican fintech on a mission to break the cycle of over-indebtedness and financial exclusion in Latin America. Destácame supports people through their whole financial journey, from getting out of debt to accessing fair credit. It helps millions of people in Chile and Mexico understand their credit situation, settle their debts and rebuild their financial lives.

Augusto leads the company’s strategy, its partnerships with financial institutions and credit operations, demonstrating that financial inclusion can be both impactful and profitable. A civil engineer from Universidad Católica with an MBA from MIT Sloan, he has also led social programmes focused on building schools and homes in remote Chilean communities.
