Dr. Clementine Chambon is the Co-Founder & CTO at Oorja, a Farming-as-a-Service company providing affordable solar-powered irrigation and climate-smart advisory services to smallholder farmers. They offer a farm-based package of services to smallholder farmers with no upfront cost and an affordable tariff structure, using a unique and inclusive pay-per-use business model. Clementine is responsible for fundraising, engineering, team building and impact management and co-leads business strategy and implementation.

She has over a decade of experience as a renewable energy researcher and consultant. Her personal passion is using clean energy as a catalyst for climate justice and energy equity.

Clementine holds a PhD in Renewable Energy from Imperial College London and M.Eng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and is a Global Good Fund Fellow and Echoing Green Climate Fellow.
