Cristóbal Escalona is an expert in social innovation, sustainable development, and impact investing. Before joining Director of Balloon Lab at Balloon Latam where he led the creation of scalable and cost-effective solutions aimed at fostering sustainable rural development. Previously, Cristóbal held positions as Senior Associate for the Chilean Patagonia Project at The Pew Charitable Trusts, helping to manage Chile’s largest private conservation efforts, and as Business Specialist at güil Mobility Ventures, developing sustainable mobility startups. He also co-founded Proyecto RE and created Premisas, an organization and a board game respectively focused on fostering philosophical dialogue through play, and served as Strategic Designer at EmpreDiem.
