Hans van Houwelingen is Managing Director of Urban Impact Ventures, an impact venture capital investor focused on the sustainable transformation of the urban environment. Until 2019, Hans was CEO of ACTIAM, a pioneer in Sustainable and Impact investing with €65 billion AuM.

Hans fulfilled various international executive and non-executive leadership roles in the investment management, insurance and technology industries, including organizations like ING Group, NN Group, Telelink Group and VIVAT. At present Hans is Chairman of the Board of Telelink Business Services, Member of the Supervisory Board of Aqua4All, as well as a Mentor for founder entrepreneurs at Endeavor Global, Greentech Alliance and Reaktor Berlin.
