Kushagra Srivastava is the Founder and CEO of Chakr Innovation, a deep-tech clean-air company transforming sustainability through material science and engineering. They have developed Chakr Shield, a patented, Government of India-certified Retrofit Emission Control Device (RECD) that reduces these emissions by up to 90%, without replacing existing DGs.

Born and raised in New Delhi, one of the world’s most polluted cities, Kushagra witnessed firsthand the toll of poor air quality. Under his leadership, Chakr Innovation has grown from a campus concept into one of India’s leading clean-tech enterprises, pioneering emission-control and energy-storage technologies that advance global sustainability.

He was honored as Young Champion of the Earth (Asia-Pacific) by the UN Environment Programme, awarded NITI Aayog’s Champions of Change, and recognized as a WWF Climate Solver. He was also selected as a Massachusetts Institute of Technology GSW fellows for his contributions to developing the entrepreneurial ecosystem in his community.
