Luca Grati is the Co-Founder & CEO of RECARBON, an innovative startup driving circular economy solutions for carbon fiber. With a background in nanomaterials and carbon fiber-based products, Luca gained international experience in the UK textile industry and later led his consultancy in composites for 11 years in Italy. Since 2017, he has focused on advancing recycled carbon fiber applications in composite materials.

At RECARBON, he pioneers new intermediate products made from recycled carbon fiber, enabling industries such as automotive, aerospace, marine, and industrial to adopt sustainable technologies and reduce environmental impact. They have developed thermoplastics, which can be re-heated and re-furbished, making their products 100% recyclable in an infinite amount of time.
