Mahmoud Eldefrawy is the Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer of Rology, an AI-powered teleradiology platform working to make specialist radiology expertise more accessible across the Middle East and Africa. The platform connects hospitals and imaging centres with qualified radiologists, enabling scans to be reviewed remotely and reports delivered faster, particularly in areas with limited specialist capacity.

He leads Rology’s clinical strategy, building systems that help hospitals deliver faster, more reliable radiology services. He also leads the company’s expansion in Saudi Arabia, developing partnerships with hospitals and radiologists to increase capacity and scale sustainably.

A radiologist by background, Mahmoud has spent much of his career at the intersection of healthcare, AI, technology, and access to care.
