Minhaj Chowdhury is the Co-Founder & CEO of Drinkwell, a social enterprise revolutionizing safe water access across South Asia through an award-winning water ATM and piped-water model. They have invented HIX-Nano – a proprietary, resin-based water filtration technology which removes arsenic, iron, and other impurities from groundwater, embedded within a variety of water delivery schemes. Under his leadership, Drinkwell has delivered over 1 billion liters of clean water through 700+ systems in Bangladesh and India via public-private partnerships with utilities, multilateral development banks, and impact investors.

A former Fulbright Fellow, Minhaj focuses on scaling climate-resilient infrastructure, advancing financial sustainability for urban utilities, and unlocking blended finance. Having studied Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, he is also an Echoing Green and Ashoka Fellow.
