A former refugee with 12+ years at the World Bank, USAID, and the EU, he combines lived experience with innovative solutions that restore dignity and opportunity to crisis-affected communities. Aseel’s platforms, Buy Good, connects 5,500+ artisans—mostly women—from Afghanistan and Turkey to global markets, and Do Good (AidOS), delivers transparent, decentralized aid to over 544,000 beneficiaries.

Nasrat has also launched the Afghan Women in Tech Fellowship, equipping women with digital skills and leadership pathways to foster sustainable livelihoods and systemic change.
