Rose Marcario was the President and CEO of outdoor clothing company and private benefit corporation Patagonia. Prior to joining the company in 2008, Marcario served as the EVP of mergers and acquisitions at L.A.-based investment firm Capital Advisors and as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Apple spin-off General Magic. Currently, she is a member of the board of directors at Patagonia, serves on the board of trustees at Naropa University, and supports the Mojave Desert Land Trust and the Joshua Tree National Park Association. Under Marcario’s leadership, Patagonia launched $20 Million and Change, a socially minded venture fund, and Patagonia Provisions, a sustainable food company.
