Sorina Uleia is the Co-Founder & CEO of Recycllux, a bluetech startup transforming marine plastic pollution into measurable, verifiable climate impact through AI, satellite data, and blockchain. They provide a digital platform that connects corporate stakeholders seeking to offset their plastic footprint, with existing local cleanup: local fishing vessels, coastal NGOs and local recyclers.

A passionate blue economy advocate, she brings over 20 years of experience in sustainability and business development. Sorina holds board advisory roles in key EU projects, including SYMBA (developing an EU-wide Industrial Symbiosis methodology) and TULIP (addressing interactions between climate change and plastic pollution in aquatic environments). In 2025, she was selected in the EIC Women Leadership Programme and named among the 10 Female Ocean Champions at the WIN-BIG event in Rome.
