Yvonne Baldwin Mushi is the Co-Founder & CEO of Ele-vate AI Africa, an AI and robotics infrastructure company developing practical, scalable technology solutions for African contexts. The company’s flagship innovation, MamaMate, is a solar-powered, offline-first, AI-enabled maternal health companion designed to support women in low-connectivity and underserved communities.

Through Ele-vate AI Africa, Yvonne works at the intersection of technology, capital, policy and human development, with a focus on moving emerging technologies from innovation into real-world deployment. She also leads the Presidential African Youth in Artificial Intelligence & Robotics initiative, which supports young people across the continent to engage with AI and robotics.

Yvonne is a two-time ITU award winner, including the 2025 AI for Good Innovation Factory Global Champion Award, and has also received the Women Entrepreneurs Shaping the Future Award.
