Alberto Macciani is the Global Head of House Branding and Communication at Saflio, one of the eyewear industry’s principal players in the design, manufacturing and distribution of optical frames, sunglasses, sports eyewear, goggles and helmets. Before this, Alberto was the Chief Marketing Officer for Paysend, managing global branding, marketing and go-to-market for the startup Fintech corporation and payment disruptor. Paysend’s aim is to change the way people deal with money, and Alberto led a project on money education helping people with low financial literacy learn how to deal with digital money. Previous to this, Alberto was Global VP Household Care at Unilever, where he created a huge program on women’s empowerment in South East Asia called Sunlight Academy, which empowered women to liberate time from chores and use it to build professional skills.
