Alessandro Fedele is a senior global commercial executive with over 20 years’ experience developed in IKEA, UNICEF, Coca-Cola and Unilever. Alessandro joined IFRC in the Partnerships and Resource Development department in 2016 and since November 2018 he is also responsible for strategic planning, market analysis and National Societies Development. Before joining the IFRC, Alessandro worked for IKEA as Senior Consultant where he led projects in marketing, sales and strategic planning, supporting the leadership team to develop new business models, to design new business processes and to implement revenue streams. Before IKEA, he worked for UNICEF where he led marketing and sales initiatives and a change of business model building partnerships with global private sector companies. Alessandro also hold marketing and sales positions within the Coca-Cola Company (9 years) and Unilever (7 years) both in Europe and Latin America, where he developed several globally award-winning marketing campaigns, launched new brands in multiple markets and built different global partnerships. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Bocconi and post graduate certificates from ESADE, IMD, the Institute of Fundraising of London and the Athens University in USA. He is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish with good working knowledge of French.
