Dr. Anurag Priyadarshi is a member of the Rainforest Alliance Board of Directors since 2018 and was on the UTZ Supervisory Board before that. He is an Indian national who is a Sustainability and CSR Leader for Tata Sons, the holding company for the whole Tata Group of companies and former Director of Sustainability at $10 Billion M-cap ata Consumer Products. Dr. Priyadarshi is a thought leader and influencer who brings over 20 years of experience in sustainable agriculture and sustainability in industries such as beverages, textiles, electronics etc. He is on the Board of Ethical Tea Partnership UK and a founding member of trustea – the India Sustainable tea program. He is a winner of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) Award for Chemical Leasing in 2010 and the Tata Innovista in 2016 for developing bio-pesticides. He is also the Chair of the India Plastics Pact Advisory Committee which is convened by WRAP UK, WWF and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
