As a proud Indigenous woman from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), Brandi Halls found a home in campaigning company, Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics almost 20 years ago. With a passion for all things retail and activism, she has been integral in expanding the brand across Canada and the US, first as the PR Manager, then as Brand Director and today as the Chief Ethics Officer. Leveraging her expertise in communication and her passion for movement building, Brandi supports Lush’s social, environmental and animal justice work in the North American market. In her role she ensures Lush’s brand values are at the forefront of all decisions, policies and practices. By overseeing Lush’s charitable giving; advocacy and activism; and regeneration and sustainability teams, she leads Lush’s commitment to move beyond corporate activism and create systemic change that is rooted in justice and equity.
