David Friedman is the Founder & CEO of AutonomyWorks, which employs a team of people with autism to deliver exceptional business services while building independent lives for employees. The company offers competitive employment opportunities as well as comprehensive training programmes and apprenticeships designed to teach technical, professional, and soft skills.
He is also a member of the Illinois Workforce Investment Board where he serves as the Chair of the Disability Workgroup and Co-Chair of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access (DEIA) Committee. David is also Vice Chair of the State Rehabilitation Council.
Before starting the company, David spent 25 years assisting retail and consumer organisations in building brands through great customer experiences. He has earned an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
