Dr. Divya Rathod is the Founder of Silverynanos Innovations and the CEO of WISE Incubation Centre. She started her journey of innovation when she herself suffered from UTI in 2014, creating nanocomposites coatings for toilets to prevent UTI and other infection. Focusing on “Nari saaf toilet ki sawari (Right for women to have clean hygienic toilets)”, the product has bacteriostatic, water and stain repellent properties saving up to 55% water and replacing harmful chemicals like PFAs going into the environment. She has been awarded by the Government of India to scale to 500 cities of India.
A Ph.D in microbiology,, she has been recognised by UNDP as a COVID warrior, UN Women, Worldbank Water Innovation Challenge and many more.
