Farhana Rashid is the Founder & CEO of Bhumijo, a social enterprise that is working to ensure hygienic and tech enabled public toilets. With the vision to end the public toilet crisis in Bangladesh, she focuses on system designing and managing hygienic and secure public toilets, ensuring accessibility for all, especially women.

With a background in architecture from BUET and a Master’s in Sustainable Urban Planning and Design from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, she integrates expertise in gender-sensitive planning, placemaking, and public health.

Farhana is committed to transforming urban spaces into safe, inclusive environments through innovative design and strategic public facility management.
