Francis Obirikorang is the Co-Founder & CEO of AgroCenta, which unlocks financial services for smallholder farmers through credit scoring, predictive analysis and digital identities. They focus on four key services namely micro-loans where farmers get access to input financing from partner financial institutions, mobile payments, savings and pensions. With a footprint in nine regions across Ghana, they are currently serving over 350,000 smallholder farmers.
A graduate from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and majored in Materials Engineering, Francis has over 10 years of experience working in companies like TXT Ghana and CoreNett. He was part of the initial core team that built Esoko, a Market Information Systems platform that delivers market information to smallholder farmers via SMS.
