Fred Rabelo is passionate about how technology can change people’s lives in the healthcare sector and the opportunities that reside in an area that still has much to be explored and developed. He is an engineer, currently a PhD Student at the Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil) and has a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in the city of New York (USA). Fred is the co-founder and CEO of Ti.Saúde, a platform that connects doctors to patients in the real and the digital world, used by thousands of health professionals in all states of Brazil and a few African countries.
Ti.Saúde provides a data-driven approach to improve care delivery and patient outcomes, specially for chronic patients, along with new ways for caregivers to be present at the patient’s home even in times of social distancing (since the beginning of the Corona Vírus Pandemic). The platform provides Online Agenda, Electronic Health Record (EHR), Intelligent Risk Analysis, Telemedicine and Telemonitoring through omnichannel communication tools using Voice, SMS, E-mail, WhatsApp, Push Notifications and Video. Based on the care program, the provider can create automatic triggers of reminders, confirmations and personalised orientations based on each patient’s needs, improving their care and relationship.
Fred, along his team, built a platform for population health management with partnerships, customers and volunteers in Brazil, and it is his goal to take it a step further and make these initiatives global, with people from all over the world, changing the way healthcare is delivered, from disease management to prevention, making healthcare accessible to everyone, everywhere.
