Irene Ikarede Etyang is a Food Scientist and the Founder of Already Foods, a company that undertakes development and processing of nutritious, easy to prepare and affordable food Innovations from locally sourced food material.
Driven by her passion for child nutrition, she has initiated a school feeding programme at the grassroots to increase enrollment, keep the most vulnerable children at school and ensure school completion. She is determined to revolutionise the local food system through regenerative agricultural crop production, food processing and local consumption of nutritious products to combat malnutrition. She is focused in developing food entrepreneurs through training and provision of affordable commercial processing space with the aim of making nutritious foods affordable for the local communities and the wider market.
