Jelle is a Dutch, award-winning, social and tech entrepreneur and startup investor. He is one of the founders of the social enterprise GOAL 3, with a mission to make quality healthcare fair and accessible for everyone, by focusing on smart, and data-driven technologies suited for low resource settings. He is responsible for the commercialization of patient monitoring technology in low-and-middle-income countries using innovative business models and leading the company from concept, to startup, to scale-up. He recently moved to Kigali, Rwanda, to build the local office for GOAL 3 Rwanda as Managing Director and to speed up the commercialisation efforts.
Jelle holds a masters in Innovation Management from the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Apart from this Jelle is an advisor and early-stage investor in various startups in the social and tech space. Jelle loves networking, challenges, hackatons, kickstarters, helping (young) entrepreneurs and working on crazy, stupid, genius start-up ideas. He loves to run and is training for a marathon at the feet of the Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
