Laura Jardine Paterson is the Founder & CEO of CONCAT Tech, a refugee and female-led design and development company, employing marginalised designers and developers. She has also founded CONCAT Recruit, the new go-to tech talent community in the Middle East, working with leading businesses to link them to the best, untapped developers in the region.
Laura is at the forefront of linking marginalised tech talent in the Middle East to corporates around the world. She regularly breaks down stereotypes surrounding women and refugees, and has helped more than 300 refugees into employment from Palestine and Lebanon through CONCAT’s network.
As a 2 x solo female founder and tech enthusiast, Laura has been invited to participate at all of the world’s leading tech events. She is a mentor and trainer for many leading accelerators and programmes such as Hub71, Numo and others.
