Lucy Mutinda is the Founder & Engineering Director of Ecocycle, providing waste water treatment and recycling plants using AI, digitisation and automation of the sewage treatment process to produce clean safe water from sewage in just eight hours. The company has rolled out over 500 onsite waste water recycling projects, impacting nearly 50,000 people directly, as well as recycling over 5 million litres of waste water daily back to safe reusable water.
Lucy is a Board Member of the Kenya Industrial research & development institute (KIRDI) and was the first Vice President at the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK). She has an MBA fom the European School of Management & Technology (ESMT); Bachelor of Technology from Moi University and a Diploma in Sustainable business & Responsible Leadership from the Swedish Institute.
