Michael Norton is a social innovator and entrepreneur. Through Centre for Innovation in Voluntary Action he develops innovative projects including: a banking system for street children in South Asia; village publishing in India; and ChangemakersYouthBank and MyBnk in the UK which provide opportunities to young people to engage in society. His current projects include programmes addressing adolescent mental wellbeing and providing opportunities for young disadvantaged people. He co-founded UnLtd, to support social entrepreneurs and Spring Impact which helps successful projects scale up. He promotes social enterprise, environmental innovation and good business in China, where he has a professorship in social enterprise with the China Global Philanthropy Institute. He writes books on fundraising and social innovation. He is based in London, and is a frequent visitor and speaker in China.
