Nicky Dee
Founder & Chief Sustainability Officer, Carbon13
Nicky has over 20 years engaging with startups and a variety of stakeholders to accelerate sustainability. She founded her latest venture, Carbon13, to build and invest in companies address the climate emergency. In the last 18 months this has included 32 pre-seed investments in leading-edge net zero startups. She has pioneered new insights and activities across related fields including innovation prizes, startup support, low carbon investments, corporate engagement mechanisms and startup ecosystems. Nicky has a PhD from the University of Cambridge (IfM), is a Senior Associate with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and is the Chief Innovation and Sustainability Officer at Carbon13.
