Pascal Asselin
Co-Founder, MORFO

Pascal Asselin, born in French Guiana near the Amazonian rainforest, co-founded MORFO with his brother Hugo after witnessing the extreme degradation of the forest from a young age. MORFO, a Franco-Brazilian company, is on a mission to transform millions of hectares of degraded land into thriving, resilient ecosystems.

Using next-generation technology, such as drones, AI, machine learning, it provides fast, scalable solutions for forest restoration at an unprecedented scale, integrating advanced strategies to rejuvenate and conserve forest landscapes while focusing on biodiversity and socio-economic benefits. It also collaborates with scientists and labs to research local species and develop new ecological solutions, such as our patented seedpods. Today MORFO has a catalogue of +300 native species to choose from.
