Paul Humpherson

Founding Director, Tap Social

 

Paul Humpherson is a Founding Director of Tap Social, a social enterprise craft brewery, artisan bakery and hospitality business which makes award-winning beer and baked goods, and runs inclusive community events spaces, which reduce crime and raise awareness about the power of second-chance employment. It has a proven track record of slashing reoffending rates through inclusive recruitment, in particular of prisoners and prison-leavers.

Outside of his work at Tap Social, Paul is an independent criminal barrister at 6KBW College Hill chambers and a teaching fellow at the University of Oxford. He is also a Chair of Police Misconduct Panels for various police forces in England and the Chair of the Employment Advisory Board at HMP Bullingdon.
