Richard Nimmons is the CEO of Carbon Capture Scotland, focused on removing biogenic carbon dioxide from the atmosphere by mineralisation and geological storage, bringing to the market Carbon Removal Credit.

Starting the company twelve years ago on an oil rig in the North Sea, Richard had a vision – to build a company with one mission to remove carbon dioxide from our atmosphere. As the organisation grows its carbon capture and transport infrastructure, the aim is to utilise this portfolio to help other non or fossil emitters capture and transport CO2 to removal, along with supporting the supply chain for synthetic fuel generation.
