Rikesh Gurung is the Co-Founder and Chair of The Green Road, Bhutan’s first plastic recycling plant. Green Road’s objective is to save the environment by segregating all plastic waste from the landfills in the country, building eco-friendly roads and reducing import of bitumen and investment on bitumen for road construction, and generating employments for the youth in the country.
Rikesh is the President of the Bhutan Association of Entrepreneurs, and the founder and Managing Director of AB Ventures, Bhutans first BPO. Rikesh also sits as on the board of directors in different CSOs and associations in Bhutan and abroad. He was recently appointed as the Independent Board of director of Green Bhutan Corporation Limited, a state owned enterprise of the Royal Government of Bhutan.
