Shiroi Lily Shaiza-Sanyü is the Co-Founder of NagaEd, a digital education company in India’s North Eastern region. NagaEd solves issues of education inequality in marginalised tribal and indigenous communities by uplifting the capacity and capability of teachers and giving students access to quality learning content.
Shiroi envisions sustainable, community-centred solutions to uplift these communities and has actively pioneered various impactful social ventures in microfinance, rural marketing and livelihood enhancement tailored to their specific needs.
Recognized as one of the ‘100 Emerging Women Leaders’ by YourStory Media in 2021, she is also an Acumen Fellow (India, 2017), Forbes 30u30 Special mention for social impact (India, 2018), and a Young Leader’s Accelerated Scholar (Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, 2019).
