Stephen Smith

Chairperson, East Kent Hospitals NHS University Foundation Trust

 

Originally a clinician scientist with a Chair in Cambridge, UK, Stephen became dean of Medicine at Imperial College and created Academic Health Science Centres in the UK, becoming CEO of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Stephen is the Founding Dean of new Medical School in Singapore and now is Chair of one of the UK’s larger hospitals, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. He sits on several Boards of digital analytic and biotech companies.
