Willie Ng is Co-Founder & MD of Global Cerah, a Malaysia-based cleantech startup that integrates organic waste management and production of alternative feeds and fertilisers into a sustainable solution supported by IoT. This solution is building a circular economy and enhances food security in the Southeast Asia region.
Under his leadership, the start-up currently recycles 50,000 tons of organic waste from local farms and has produced around 45,000 tons of feed meals since 2021. Willie has won numerous awards, notably 2024 Tatler Asia Gen.T List Honouree, 2024 Shell LiveWired Award and 2024 Green Economy Silver Award by APEC. In addition, he is a 2024 Top Young Founders with Westerwelle Foundation, Youth Ecopreneur with International Trade Centre and a 2024 Acumen Southeast Asia Fellow.
