Mandar Apte is a former Shell executive who has managed Shell Gamechanger investments in social innovations that create both social impact and business value. Mandar has presented Masterclass at several sustainability summits and MBA programs worldwide on social innovation, intrapreneurship, and leadership development.
While at Shell, Mandar also won the Ashoka/Accenture sponsored League of Intrapreneurs award for designing and teaching a program to improve the innovation culture at Shell. After nearly two decades at Shell, Mandar joined a scholar at George Mason School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution. Currently, he manages a strategic consultancy Cities4Peace that provides consulting to civic leaders to design solutions to promote peace and social harmony.
Mandar is also the Producer/Director of From India With Love – a documentary film that showcases the transformational experience of victims of violence from across America during their pilgrimage to India. Mandar has studied, practiced and volunteered his time to teach meditation for nearly two decades for the Art of Living Foundation.
