Aime Rebecca is an entrepreneur with over 10 years experience in business startup and management. After leaving DR Congo as a refugee in 2010 at the age of 13, she fully got involved in entrepreneurship as a means to support her family. In 2016, she joined Social Innovation Academy (SINA) that empowers marginalised youth to become social entrepreneurs, where she underwent training in leadership, social entrepreneurship and, business startup and mentoring. With this foundation, she founded Patapia that seeks to empower refugee women to start and run own businesses for sustained livelihoods.
