CEO, Responsible Business Initiative for Justice
 

Celia Ouelette is the CEO of Responsible Business Initiative for Justice (RBIJ), a nonprofit which works with companies to champion fairness, equality and effectiveness across systems of punishment and incarceration. RBIJ creates a unique opportunity to deliver meaningful, measurable and enduring change for the most disadvantaged and vulnerable. In 2015, she founded The Powell Project, with the aim of empowering defense counsel in trial level capital cases by equipping teams with nationally recognised skills and best practices. Celia has also worked at Reprieve, an international human rights charity.
