Christian is the Global Engagement Leader for EMEA & APAC within Amazon Social Responsibility, working with suppliers and stakeholders in finding solutions to problems faced by workers. He is a seasoned ethical supply chains and sustainability professional with over 15 years of experience in this space. A critical area of work that he leads in the region is on creating migrant friendly practices across the supply chain and gender equity. Christian also works in building partnerships with crucial stakeholders needed to create a ripple effect of the solutions created and amplify the same across global supply chains. Prior to Amazon, Christian spent a decade with one of world’s largest fast fashion retailer Inditex as a Regional Sustainability Manager, managing programmes around ethical sourcing, labour rights, human rights and worker friendly spaces.
