Naziba Naila Wafa

Naziba Naila Wafa is the Co-Founder of Resurgence, a social enterprise that is revolutionising menstrual hygiene in low-income communities through low-cost, biodegradable sanitary pads. Realising the lack of sanitation prevailing in the slum areas of Dhaka, Bangladesh, Naziba and her team are taking action to shatter the social stigma revolving around the topic by empowering vulnerable populations, specifically underprivileged women, through education and employment opportunities. Additionally due to her immense passion in journalism, Naziba is working as a radio jockey at one of the top radio stations of the capital where she presents her take on ongoing political and significant events along with the music industry.
